PLANFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) – Authorities say a head men’s rowing coach in western Michigan has been arrested after a video recording device was found containing images of girls changing their clothes. The Kent County sheriff’s department says 30-year-old Timothy Vallier was arrested Friday after the Rockford Public Schools district reported the camera had what appeared to be video from inside the changing room of the Rockford Crew House in Plainfield Township. The department says Vallier hid the camera. He’s jailed on $100,000 bond and faces charges including child sexually abusive activity and using a computer to commit a crime. The Associated Press left a message seeking comment Monday from Vallier. Superintendent Mike Shibler says he contacted police immediately when a parent of a girl on the crew team alerted him of the video images.
