Students taking part in CPS Summer School Program

(CARSONVILLE-PORT SANILAC) — The Carsonville-Port Sanilac School board was given an update on the Summer School Program during Tuesday’s meeting. The district currently has 25 Kindergarten through 2nd graders participating, along with 10 6th-12th graders. The no-cost lunch program is serving about 60 meals a day and it was noted that the Elementary Library is open to the public on Wednesday’s from 11:30 a.m.-5 p.m. The CPS District is also part of the Meet Up and Eat Up Summer Breakfast and Lunch Program. Now through August 26, breakfast and lunch is served at no cost for children 18 and under with breakfast from 8-9 a.m. and lunch from 11:30-12:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. The meals are served at the CPS Elementary and adult meals are $2.
