(AREA) — Just about something for everyone this weekend in the Thumb! Friday night in Sandusky the rock band “Threshold” from Auburn Hills will perform on the courthouse lawn during the free lawn chair music series.
It’s the Yale Bologna Festival this Friday through Sunday with a craft show and vendors, kiddie carnival, live entertainment, big bologna parade, and cardboard boat races.
The Port Sanilac Summer Festival at the Harbor Park kicks off Friday with live music, a refreshment tent and food vendors, kids activities, and the Port Sanilac Fire Department’s pancake breakfast at the fire hall.
The Eastern Michigan Fair is happening in Imlay City this week. Admission to the “pay one price fair” covers all rides, parking, shows and grandstand events. Wednesday it’s the Monster Trucks at the grandstand at 7 p.m. Thursday is the Superman Motocross, and Friday the Autocross Bump-N-Run. Saturday it’s the Demolition Derby. The Jungle Cats perform daily along with acrobats and a petting zoo on site.
