DETROIT (AP) – After a day off Monday, the Detroit Tigers resume play at Comerica Park and open a series against the Chicago White Sox. Anibal Sanchez is set to start tnight’s series opener for the Tigers. He’s starting on 8 days’ rest after he gave up four runs over six innings to the White Sox in his last outing. The Sox will start James Shields, who has thrown six straight quality starts for Chicago after a rough opening game for the team.
