(MINDEN TWP) — Sanilac County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a two vehicle accident in Sanilac County’s Minden Township Tuesday morning. Deputies report a 2002 Pontiac, driven by 53-year-old Linda Becker of Minden City, was travelling North on Parisville Road when she stopped at the intersection of Bay City-Forestville Road before proceeding through the intersection. The Becker vehicle then collided with a 2011 Chevrolet driven by 55-year-old Laurie Weber of Ruth, who was travelling west on Bay City-Forestville Road. Weber, who was not wearing her seatbelt at the time of the crash, was transported to Huron Medical Center by Bingham Township EMS for treatment of her injuries. Neither alcohol or speed were factors in the crash. Sanilac County Deputies were assisted at the scene by Minden City Fire, Bingham EMS, and Sanilac EMS.
