(PORT HURON TOWNSHIP) — The St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office is seeking assistance from the public in solving larcenies taking place in the southern end of the county. Sheriff Tim Donnellon says his department had taken several complaints of stolen kayaks from the city of Algonac and in Clay, Ira, and Cottrellville Townships since June 25. The kayaks were stolen from the owner’s yards. Some were tied with rope, while others were not secured. Anyone with information is asked to contact authorities. Residents are also advised to secure their valuable equipment and keep an eye out for suspicious activity.
