DEARBORN, Mich. (AP) – Teams from Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, New York and Ohio are preparing for the 14th annual World Tournament of Base Ball. Greenfield Village in the Detroit suburb of Dearborn on Saturday and Sunday will host 12 teams from across the region, including the history attraction’s own Lah-De-Dahs and Nationals. The baseball teams will be playing by 1867 rules as they compete for the title. Greenfield Village says the event features live period music, a dance revue and artifacts on display, including the championship bat awarded to the winners of the 1867 World Tournament that took place in Detroit. The tournament’s championship game is Sunday. Greenfield Village is part of The Henry Ford, which includes Henry Ford Musuem.
