(LAPEER) — The Lapeer Days summer celebration is happening this Friday through Sunday with a soap box derby, classic car show, a carnival and a parade through downtown. There is no admission charge and parking is free. All weekend check out the kiddie carnival, arts and craft vendors, Lapeer County Courthouse tours, and the refreshment tent next to Rogers Pharmacy. Saturday there will be live music, a chicken BBQ, and the parade at 11 a.m. Sunday check out the annual Pancake Breakfast on the courthouse lawn from 9 a.m-Noon, the candy drop at 1 p.m., live music, and the Soap Box Derby Races on Oregon Street.
