(CARO) — A 32-year-old man who ran from the Caro Center around 10 a.m. Saturday was back in custody about two and a half hours later after State Police were dispatched to a wooded area in Tuscola County’s Indianfields Township. With assistance from the Tuscola County Sheriff’s Department, Caro Center Security and a Michigan State Police K-9, Benjamin Jeffery Denning was found in the wooded area and returned to the Caro Center at about 12:30pm. Denning was recently placed in the center after being found incompetent to stand trial for armed robbery in Oakland County.
