ANN ARBOR, Mich. (AP) – Michigan defensive end Shelton Johnson and wide receiver Ahmir Mitchell have been suspended. Coach Jim Harbaugh told reporters Monday that two players were suspended, although he did not identify them or give additional details. An athletic department spokesman has confirmed he was referring to Johnson and Mitchell. Johnson signed with the Wolverines in 2015 but did not play in any games last season. Mitchell was part of the team’s signing class this year.
