(WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP) — Two people were arrested following a drug raid Wednesday in the area of 4000 E. Walker Road in Sanilac County’s Washington Township. Drug Task Force officers seized meth lab manufacturing equipment, meth, prescription pills, firearms, and other drug paraphernalia. The meth lab is believed to be connected to the meth manufacturing components that were found in July by a local farmer, dumped along Eddy Road near Ruth Road. The renters at the home, a 48-year old man and 50-year old woman, were arrested on charges of maintaining a drug house. Additional felony charges are pending. The Sanilac County Drug Task Force was assisted during the raid by sheriff’s deputies, DNR officers, and the Sandusky Fire Department Hazmat Team.
