Okey hits walk-off single, Dayton beats Lansing 11-10

DAYTON, Ohio (AP) — Chris Okey hit a walk-off single with two outs in the ninth inning, as the Dayton Dragons topped the Lansing Lugnuts 11-10 on Monday. Nick Senzel scored the game-winning run after he reached base with two outs on an intentional walk and advanced to second on a single by James Vasquez. One batter earlier, Vasquez singled, scoring Brantley Bell to tie the game 10-10. After the Lugnuts scored six runs in the top of the seventh, Dayton cut the deficit to 10-9 in the eighth when Zack Shields hit an RBI single, bringing home Shane Mardirosian. Tanner Rainey (4-10) got the win with a scoreless inning in relief while Dan Lietz (6-2) took the loss in the Midwest League game.
