MIDLAND, Mich. (AP) — Victor Gonzalez, Dean Kremer and Shea Spitzbarth combined for a shutout as the Great Lakes Loons defeated the Fort Wayne TinCaps 2-0 on Thursday. Kremer (2-0) picked up the win after he struck out three and walked one over 2 1/3 scoreless innings. Thomas Dorminy (4-5) went eight innings, allowing two runs and five hits in the Midwest League game. He also struck out five and walked one. Spitzbarth pitched two scoreless innings for his fourth save of the season. Great Lakes scored its runs when Saige Jenco hit an RBI single in the fifth inning and Darien Tubbs scored on a wild pitch in the eighth.
