(CROSWELL-LEXINGTON) — Recall petitions have once again been filed against four current Croswell-Lexington school board members. An effort was rejected in Sanilac County earlier this month due to unclear language. The petitions have been filed against Laurie Ebner, Linda France, Lyle Clarkson, and Katie Gordon. The petitions state that the board members failed to be transparent and provide adequate communication with the public and for violating the open meetings act in September 2015 after entering into closed session with failure to disclose the reason without a roll call vote or by request of an employee. Sanilac County Clerk Denise McGuire says a clarity hearing will be held on Thursday, September 15 at 1:30 p.m. in the Sanilac County District Court Courtroom.
