(ELKLAND TOWNSHIP) — Authorities are investigating a head-on crash that injured two people Monday afternoon in Tuscola County’s Elkland Township. Troopers from the Caro State Police post say a vehicle driven by a 47-year old Sebewaing woman was attempting to turn left onto Richie Road from Bay City-Forestville Road around 2:15 p.m. when she turned into the path of a car that was driven by a 37-year old Gagetown woman. The Sebewaing woman was freed from her vehicle and transported to Scheurer Hospital in Pigeon for treatment of minor injuries. The Gagetown woman was transported to St. Mary’s Hospital in Saginaw by Flight Care. Her condition is unknown. Troopers say both driver’s were wearing their seat belts.
