(WATERTOWN TWP) — Tuscola County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call about a missing person with Alzheimer’s in Watertown Township Wednesday morning. The caller reported that a family member with Alzheimer’s had left the house unnoticed shortly after 10:00 a.m. in the 700 block of Goodrich Road, and could not be found. Deputies conducted a search with the assistance of Michigan State Police Troopers, the Tuscola County Road Commission, and the Fostoria Fire Department. After several hours of searching, the person was located in a corn field about half a mile from his home. Tuscola County Sheriff Glen Skrent thanks everyone who helped in the search.
