(Marlette) – The Sandusky Redskins advanced to Thursday night’s Class C championship game with a 25-14, 25-11 and 25-8 win over Kingston. Madison Armstrong led the winners with 21 points and Callie Jacobson had 19 assists. They will play Reese, who defeated Marlette in three games, at 7 pm.
(New Haven) – Brown City keeps rolling along, moving on to the Class C title game Friday night following their 25-7, 25-7 and 25-8 win over Landmark Acadamey. Alexia Mason had 20 assists and Becki Krause had 11 kills to lead the Lady Green Devils. They will play Memphis in the championship game at 7 pm.
In other district volleyball action involving local teams, Deckerville defeated Carsonville-Port Sanilac, North Huron defeated Peck, North Branch beat Croswell-Lexington and Almont defeated Caro. Deckerville will take on North Huron in the Class D championship game Thursday at C-PS beginning at 7 pm.
