(Port Huron Township) A methamphetamine lab inside a home in Port Huron Township was located and dismantled by the St. Clair County Drug Task Force Tuesday. According to Sheriff Tim Donnellon, the DTF investigated the sales of meth in the township, leading to the execution of a search warrant in the 3500 block of Moak Street. Once inside, members of the Drug Task Force located and seized methamphetamine, marijuana, drug packaging materials, cell phones and cash. They also located and dismantled a methamphetamine laboratory. A 29 year old man from Battle Creek and a 31 year old Port Huron woman were arrested without incident at the home. They are expected to face charges including operating a meth lab, possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, maintaining a drug house and being a habitual offender. A 60 year old woman and 11 year old child were also at the residence at the time of the raid, but were released from the scene. The St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office Special Response Team, Port Huron Police Special Response Team, Port Huron Township Fire Department and Tri-Hospital EMS also assisted at the scene of the bust.
