(Port Huron) – A 43-year old man and a 29-year old woman, both of Port Huron, were arrested by St. Clair County Drug task Force agents Wednesday afternoon following an investigation of narcotic sales. During a traffic stop near the intersection of 10th Street and Lapeer, the 43-year old suspect was taken into custody. At the same time, police executed a search warrant on Nelson St., near the Harrison Center School, in Port Huron.
Police seized approximately $11,000 worth of crack cocaine, other drug paraphernalia, cash, a cell phone and a vehicle. The 29-year old woman who lived at the home was also arrested.
Both suspects are lodged at the St. Clair County Intervention and Detention Center. They are expected to face multiple drug charges including possession of crack cocaine with intent to deliver and maintaining a drug house within a school zone.
