Four players scored in double figures, led By Becki Kruase’s 18 points, to lead Brown City to a 63-35 win over Yale in non-conference play Tuesday night. Kendal Muxlow and Bri Donnelly chipped in with 12 points apiece and Carleigh Randolph added 10. In other girls scores, it was Harbor Beach 70, Imlay City 24, Deckerville 39, Mayville 17 and North Huron edged Caseville 45-44.
In boys play, Almont beat Marine City Cardinal Mooney 50-41, Mayville slipped past Owen-Gage 45-40, it was Millington 61, North Branch 53, Frankenmuth ran past Caro 58-48, Birch Run whipped Essexville-Garber 67-26, Bridgeport beat Lakeville 85-43, it was Sterling Heights 70, Port Huron Northern 61 and Flint International turned back Durand 54-36.
In girls action Wednesday evening, Kingston visits Sandusky in game one of a doubleheader that can he heard on WTGV with tip-off set for 6 p.m.
Frankenmuth heads to Caro, Birch Run is at Essexville-Garber, Bridgeport travels to Otisville- Lakeville, Merrill is at Bay City All Saints, Marysville takes on Port Huron Northern at 6pm (Holiday Tournament at Port Huron High) and in game two of the tournament, Croswell-Lexington tangles with Port Huron High at 7:30pm (Holiday Tournament Port Huron High)
