The Cros-Lex Pioneers returned from a long holiday break Friday night and rolled to a 47-7 win over Capac in BWAC action Friday night, improving their overall record to 4-2. The winners raced out to a 20-0 first quarter lead and were on top 37-4 at the half. Rebecca Oden paced the Cros-Lex scoring with 18 points and Calli Townsend added 11. In Deckerville, the Lady Eagles posted a 56 to 13 win over Carsonville-Port Sanilac, led by Morgan Armstead with 10 points and Charlotte Schulz added eight.

The Sandusky boys team picked up their first win of the season with a 63-57 double overtime win over Memphis. Four players scored in double figures for the Redskins, led by Josh Sauer with 16 points. Jared Bender and Joe Wencel tossed in 14 each and Cody Hoag added 10. Marlette kept their undefeated record in tact at 7-0 with a lopsided 73 to 49 win over Ubly. The Red Raiders used a 20-4 second quarter to coast to the GTC-East win. Bryce George led the winners with 15 points, Isaac Dale had 13 points and nine rebounds while Ethan McKenney and Barrett George added 14 apiece. Brown City picked up a 60 to 37 win over Harbor Beach behind 21 points and seven rebounds from Calvin Cook. Andrew Geiger added 13, Anthony Ford had 11 and Caleb Muxlow chipped in with 10.
