Although they were not there to deal with the situation when it took place, several newly seated members of the Croswell-Lexington school board are left to try and get the district going in a positive direction. However, the district’s former legal firm may have delayed that somewhat, filing a request for information on a lawsuit against them.
Last year, the district spent over $800,000 in the dismissal of two top level administrators and are now suing their former legal team for their actions. Newly seated members of the Cros-Lex school board include Dennis Gardner, Michael Noll and Aime Stilson.
Gardner was named board Vice-President and Noll was named treasurer at the board meeting earlier this week.
