(Croswell) – In light of recent circumstances that have plagued the district, Cros-Lex school officials and the school board are considering whether or not to continue it’s year long program at the lower levels. The board met earlier this week and heard a recommendation from Interim Superintendent Gary Richards to give strong consideration to scrapping the popular program. A large number of concerned parents were at the meeting, speaking in favor of keeping year-round school.
According to the superintendent, the program cost the district around $400,000 more than what officials thought it would.
