Police are investigating a one car accident involving a 70-year old Port Sanilac man. Sanilac County Undersheriff Brad Roff said deputies responded to the accident in downtown Port Sanilac at 2 a.m. According to deputies, the man crashed in to two businesses with his pick-up truck, colliding in to Mary’s Diner and traveling across Lakeshore Road into an unoccupied business on Ridge Road. The accident was not immediately reported, but deputies were able to locate the driver later.
Roff said the man was not injured and the driver believes a medical condition caused the accident. The accident remains under investigation and no names are being released pending charges for not reporting the accident.
