Areas quiz bowl teams were in action Thursday with Bad Axe A Team winning all four competitions to finish in first place. Ubly checked in at second with a 3-1 record while the Sandusky A team was third, also at 3-1. Close behind was fourth place Carsonville-Port Sanilac with a 2-2 mark, Marlette B won three and lost two for fifth place and Sandusky B was sixth with a 2-2 record.
The quizzing season is rapidly drawing to a close, with the next match to be held at Brown City high school next Thursday afternoon.
