Firefighters from four departments responded to a location on Germania Road in Lamotte Township late Saturday afternoon to quench a fire where a resident had been burning trash and the flames spread to a nearby pile of tires used to cover livestock feed. Lamotte Township Fire Department was assisted on the scene by departments from Argyle and Moore Township and Marlette. Names of the persons involved are not being released at this time pending further investigation.
