Law enforcement’s crackdown on drug use continues, with two more raids by St. Clair County DTF agents Tuesday night, resulting in the arrests of four people. According to Sheriff Tim Donnellon, the DTF conducted two traffic stops and made two raids on Port Huron homes. Police said meth lab components and $500 worth of methamphetamine was discovered at the first traffic stop.
During the search of a residence, a one pot meth lab, meth lab components, drug paraphernalia and evidence of meth sales were found. As a result of their findings, police arrested a 35 year old Port Huron man and 24-year old Port Huron woman, both facing multiple drug charges.
A second traffic stop was made where a suspect was arrested. Shortly after that, DTF executed a search warrant at a second home in Port Huron. $800 worth of heroin, drug packaging, scales, cash, cell phones and a vehicle were seized.
A 48 year old man from Port Huron was arrested at the traffic stop and a 38 year old Port Huron woman was arrested at the home. The pair are also facing multiple drug charges and lodged in jail.
