(Mussey Township) – Site preparation on a new truck stop near I-69, just south of Capac, is underway as construction of the new fueling stop nears. A 19,000 square foot Love’s Travel Stop is being built just north of I-69 and south of Capac. Construction of the business will begin later next month with a projected opening of early 2018. Planned is a 11,450 square foot country store and a 7,500 square foot tire shop.
The new truck stop is across the road from another truck stop and McDonalds on the east side of Capac Road.
A Texas company is the general contractor for the work.
