Brown City will be performing street crack filling next week in an attempt to get the most out of their city streets. According to City Manager Clint Holmes, the streets being worked on are Cade Road, North Lincoln, James, John, Maple and Vine Streets.
Holmes also said the Drain Commissioner notified him that beginning in June, Sanilac County has scheduled maintenance and cleaning of the Lapeer & Sanilac Intercounty Drain, to include that portion that goes through the City.
Property owners that have personal drain tiles that empty into the drain are reminded that the County is not be responsible for any damage and contractors will need 40 feet on either side of the ditch to do the maintenance.
