(Worth Township) – Tuesday afternoon, Michigan State Police made what they thought was a traffic stop for excessive tinting of a vehicle in Sanilac County’s Worth Township.
What they discovered after making contact with the driver around 2:30 p.m. was approximately 17 pounds of marijuana in 32 vacuum-sealed packages and over $6,000 in cash.
A 36-year old Yale man was lodged in the Sanilac County Jail on charges of delivery of marijuana. He is awaiting arraignment on formal charges.
