Board President Jon Block said he has been pleased with the candidates they have interviewed and felt they all had their own qualities. He added, “we appreciate the efforts of Charlie in leading us and we have followed his firm’s recommendations. I am proud of the board members for their work in this process and we are looking forward to having our next Superintendent soon.” Block said the board may make site visits to the two candidates districts, prior to making their final selection.
McElrath will meet with the board on Monday, June 5th while Hugan will have his second interview on Wednesday, June 7th.
The interviews on June 5th and 7th are expected to include site visits as the candidates meet with district staff members, tour the village and take part in a public reception prior to the 6pm board meeting where they will face further questioning by board members.
