DTF Agents take down St. Clair County meth lab

(Port Huron Township) Another day, another search warrant for the St. Clair County Drug Task Force.
According to St. Clair County Sheriff Tim Donnellon, the DTF conducted an investigation into the sales of methamphetamine in the Port Huron area.
Wednesday night at about 11:00, a search warrant was executed at a home in the area of Lapeer Road and 40th Street in Port Huron Township.
Members of the Drug Task Force entered the home, where they located and seized an active one pot meth lab in the attached garage.
A further search of the home and outbuildings found numerous components to manufacture methamphetamine, along with several used one pot vessels and a loaded .40 caliber semi-automatic handgun.
Four Port Huron residents, two men ages 49 and 27 and two women ages 44 and 30, were arrested at the residence.
They were decontaminated by members of Port Huron Township Fire and Rescue, then transported to the St. Clair County Intervention and Detention Center.
The four are expected to face charges including manufacturing methamphetamine, operating a methamphetamine lab and maintaining a drug house, along with felony firearm charges.
The Sheriff’s Office Special Response Team, Sheriff’s Office Road Patrol and Tri-Hospital EMS also assisted at the scene of the raid.
