MDOT has plans for Sanilac roads

The Michigan Department of Transportation released its newest five-year construction plan last week including work in Sanilac County where M-46 and M-25 are slated to be repaired in 2018.
The stretch of M-46 between Whitney Drive and M-25 in Port Sanilac will be reconstructed. New curb and gutters will be installed from St. Clair Street to M-25. Driveway approaches will be reconstructed and side ramps will be upgraded as well.
M-25 will be rehabilitated from Mulberry Street to Orchard Avenue. The road will be resurfaced, have intermittent curb and gutter repairs, sidewalk ramp upgrading and culvert repairs.
The water main from Goldman Avenue to Cherry Street will also be upgraded.
In addition, the traffic signal at the M-46 and M-25 intersection will be removed and a flashing light will be installed.
