(Sandusky) – Road conditions and policies were on the mind of visitors at the Sanilac County Road Commission Wednesday morning. Byron Wilson, a Worth Township resident spoke at length to Commissioners about the condition of Croswell and Gardner Line Roads, near his property.
He voiced concerns of ditching and grading practices and offered to personally pay for further improvements, if need be. Engineer Robb Falls said the recently passed road millage in Worth Township was for gravel patch, not a total rebuild.
A Lexington Township man questioned Commissioners why a county employee would take personal property from his home on Peck Road, near Lexington.
There is question of whether or not the property infringed on the right-of-way on M-90.
Falls said he intended to discuss the matter with the employee, including an alleged improper conversation that concerned the board.
