(Sanilac County) – Three road projects, slated for late summer, are set to begin in the coming weeks.
Sanilac County Road Commission Engineer Robb Falls said the total rebuild of the Mills Road bridge over the Black River will begin next week while a rebuild of the Marlette Road bridge over Elk Creek will start August 7th.
The third project, a thin overlay of Old 51 from Carsonville to Croswell, is set to start September 26th.
The State of Michigan will be paying 80% of the million dollar paving project with Sanilac County picking up the other 20%.
