Sanilac County Sheriff Deputies responded to a report of a breaking and entering around 11 p.m. Thursday evening at Wild Johns Party Store on North Van Dyke Road in Greenleaf Township. Deputies and Cass City Police Department arrived and found the front glass door smashed in and the party store broken into. Deputies believe a white male, approximately 5’9 -6’1 in height, slender build, possibly late teens or early 20’s used an object to break the glass on the front door and gain entry.
An undetermined amount of property was taken. The subject fled northbound on foot before possibly being picked up or driving away on his own. Authorities are working with Wild John’s management to get additional video that could assist in identifying the suspect(s).
