A two-vehicle accident slowed traffic on M-25 near Galbraith Line in Worth Township Friday afternoon, sending one person to the hospital. According to the Sanilac County Sheriff Department a vehicle driven by 54-year-old Linda Forrest of Burtchville, was traveling north on M-25 around 12:30 p.m. when she turned into the path of an SUV driven by 51-year-old Fredrick Shaw of Lexington. Shaw and his passengers, 50-year-old Lisa Shaw of Lexington and 54-year-old Judith Smith of Holt, were treated and released at the accident scene. Forrest was taken to McLaren Port Huron for treatment of her injuries. Deputies said speed and alcohol were not factors in the crash and occupants were wearing seatbelts.
