Mother Nature continues to keep her grip on the area, especially in the upper parts of the Thumb region where snowy roads are being blamed for numerous accidents. In Huron County, motorists encountered slick roads Thursday morning while driving on M-53 near Bad Axe. According to police, a vehicle skidded off the roadway near Richardson Road and rolled over around 6:30 a.m. No injuries were reported and the incident remains under investigation.
