Police arrest seven people; Drug investigation on-going

Police investigate possible illegal drugs

 
(MARLETTE) – The Sanilac County Drug Task Force utilizing marked patrols from the Marlette Police Department, Michigan State Police and the Sanilac County Sheriff’s Patrols made several traffic stops in and around the City of Marlette and Marlette Township as part of ongoing investigations into illegal drug activities.
The traffic stops were conducted over a period from April 4th to April 6th resulting in the arrest of seven residents of Sanilac County.
The arrested include:
 *22 year old male from Marlette with three outstanding warrants for probation violations out of Sanilac and Lapeer County.
 *57 year old male from Marlette with warrant from Sanilac County
 *51 year old male from Marlette with two out of county warrants and open intoxicants charge.
 *33 year old male from Marlette charged with Driving While Suspended 2nd offense.
 *28 year old female, Jillian Mae Palmer from Sanduskyarraigned on charges of
Possession of Heroin and Possession with intent to deliver Heroin.
 *26 year old male, Michael Gary Eppenbrock from Marlettearraigned on charges of  
Possession of Cocaine and Heroin
 *29 year old male, Kenneth Robert Kienitz from Marlette arraigned on Possession of Cocaine, Heroin, Driving While under Influence of Drugs, and maintain Drug Vehicle.
 Three vehicles from the traffic stops were impounded. Pending lab results may see additional charges sought.
The Drug Task Force was provided additional assistance from the St Clair County K-9 team.
