A 38-year old Saginaw man received his sentence in a Tuscola County Court Monday, following a guilty verdict in the death of a Caro woman. Edward Forte will spend up to 40 years in prison after a jury found him guilty of delivery of a controlled substance causing death. Police found Emily Dennis, 20 unconscious and unresponsive last April, later saying she died from a drug intoxication. Through lab testing, police verified Dennis had been given heroin laced with the deadly drug fentanyl.
