Incumbent William Sarkella is among those facing competition for the August 7th Primary
Tuesday’s filing deadline for the August 7th Primary has passed and in Sanilac County, there will be races for two Board of Commission positions and one seat on the County’s Road Commission. Incumbents Bob Conley, Dan Dean and Gary Heberling are all unopposed. In District 5, incumbent Paul Muxlow of Brown City faces challenger Joel Wyatt, Jr. from Croswell, for a two-year seat.
In District 3, incumbent William Sarkella of Port Sanilac is opposed by Joseph O’Mara of Carsonville.
On the Road Commission, incumbent Don Rickett, Jr. of Carsonville faces off against challenger Rick Kappel of Snover for the six-year term.
