Sanilac County will be hosting their annual Free Hazardous Waste 7 Tire Collection day Wednesday, May 2nd. According to county officials, the event open to all County residents, will be held at the county fairgrounds from 1 pm until 7 p.m. Among the items accepted are personal vehicle tires, microwaves, fluorescent bulbs and pool chemicals. Not accepted are; water based paints, tractor tires, computer monitors and other large appliances. The event is funded by the County’s Recycling Millage.
