Area law enforcement agencies are reporting solid success in their annual Drug Take Back program held last weekend. Sanilac County DTF Director Jim Johnson says nearly 40 pounds of prescription drugs were collected from the sheriff’s office, and police departments in Croswell and Marlette. Overall, since the last Drug Take Back day, Sanilac County has collected over 225 pounds of prescription medications, according to Johnson.
