A 25-year old Sandusky man was injured in a two-vehicle accident in Deckerville Tuesday morning. According to Deckerville Police Cheif Robert Willis, a car driven by Christian Steinkopf was traveling on Deckerville Road when he drove in to the rear end of a semi-truck that had stopped to make a turn on to Stoutenburg Road. Steinkopf sustained serious injuries and was flown to a Saginaw area hospital for treatment. The truck driver was not injured in the accident. Chief Willis said cause of the accident remains under investigation. Deckerville fire department and Sanilac EMS assisted at the scene.
