A two-vehicle crash in Tuscola County Tuesday morning claimed the life of a Vassar woman. According to deputies, a pickup truck driven by a 67-year old Caro man crossed the centerline of M-81, striking the vassar woman’s car around 7:30 a.m. in Indianfields Township. The man was taken to Covenant Hospital by MMR, with non-life threatening injuries while t he woman was pronounced deceased at the scene. The investigation as to the cause of the crash remains under investigation. Names are being withheld pending notification. Deputies were assisted by the MSP, MMR, Caro Fire Department and Tuscola County Road Commission.
