Lapeer County deputies and an officer from the City of Lapeer were recently honored for their life-saving efforts earlier this year, during a Board of Commissioners meeting. The two deputies and Lapeer officer saved the lives of two individuals in February, within two days of each other. One man was pulled from a burning home during what police believed was an attempt to take his own life, while the other man was revived at a car accident scene when the drug Narcan was administeerd.
