Detectives from the St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office are investigating a threat at Yale High School. According to Sheriff Tim Donnellon, the threat was made via Snapchat Thursday night at about 8:00 p.m. A Snapchat message with a person holding a gun and saying “See you at school tomorrow” caused officials to begin their investigation. The person who posted the threat of gun violence at the school is a 14 year old freshman. Detectives have made contact with the teenage boy and his parents. School is in session today at the high school. Detectives are asking that anyone who actually saw the Snapchat post to call (810) 987-1731.
