A one-vehicle rollover accident around 6:30 p.m. Sunday evening sent a Chesterfield Township man to an area hospital. 54-year old David Mutart told Sanilac County sheriff deputies he was driving south on Maple Valley Road in Flynn Township when he fell asleep and went off the east side of the road. Mutart hit a ditch embankment, going airborne and rolling the vehicle over. Deputies said Mutart was wearing his seat belt and air bags weere deployed. He was transported to Marlette Hospital by Marlette EMS for treatment of injuries. Brown City fire department and the Michigan State Police assisted deputies.
