The Huron County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a hit and run accident over the weekend that injured a 20-year old Caseville man. Sheriff Kelly Hanson said deputies responded to the Silver Bullet Speedway in Grant Twp. around midnight Saturday, after an eastbound Lincoln Towncar allegedly turned into the path of a pickup truck on Sebewaing Rd. The 20-year old driver of the car was seriously injured while the driver of the truck fled on foot. The Caseville man was taken to Scheurer Hospital and later transferred to an out of county hospital. Sheriff Hanson said several individuals witnessed the incident, but no one could say who the driver was. The owner of the pickup told investigating deputies his pickup had been taken without permission. Anyone with any information about the unknown driver is asked to call police at 989-269-6500.
