Michigan State Police Troopers say a Davison Township Police officer was involved in a crash at the intersection of westbound Davison road and Irish Road around 6p.m. Monday evening. According to Troopers, the Davison Twp. patrol car had it’s emergency lights and sirens activated while driving on westbound Davison at Irish Road when another car slammed into the patrol vehicle. A 62-year-old Novi woman failed to yield and hit the police car. Police said both the officer and the woman sustained minor injuries. The woman was ticketed for failing to yield.
